Please describe your leadership style in three words.

Describe the skills that make you the best candidate for the job.
I'm charismatic, well-organized, detail oriented and forward thinking
Please list your top three priorities if elected.
Neighborhood unification, increasing the look and functionality of my ward, making sure renters and homeowners have the protections they need to live happily, healthfully and secure in our neighborhoods
Discuss economic growth in your community. How can you balance economic opportunity with current residents' desire to preserve their way of life?
Colorado and Federal Heights are seeing a wonderful increase in economic growth. It is mine and my community's responsibility to preserve Federal Heights charming way of life while taking advantage of the new opportunities that our city should be open to and increasing city functionality and quality of life for each and every citizen.
What is the city's role in guiding redevelopment for areas in need of repair? Where would you target the city's redevelopment efforts and dollars?
It is the city's, state's, the county's and individual's responsibilities to keep their properties from falling into disrepair. I believe Ward 1 is in the largest need of redevelopment. I will be searching for grants to the state federal county and city to assist individuals who are struggling with keeping their property out of disrepair.

Honest, Passionate, Straight forward
I think I am the best candidate because I am community-driven. I will be open to listen to what the people want and/or need in order to make Federal Heights one of the best communities in the state and their forever home.
My top priority is to be your voice. I want to make sure working families are heard and represented at City Hall. I will be accessible to you.
Our parks are our biggest asset and I will fight to see that the streets and neighborhoods that surround them are safe.
I will work tirelessly to provide resources for our aging community to allow them to call Federal Heights home for as long as they choose.
Economic growth in our community is obviously important and those opportunities can be limited due to our size and the fact that we are surrounded by much larger cities. With that being said, citizen and community engagement is imperative to the success of any economic opportunities, specifically in the southern part of our city.
Safety is the first concern that must be taken into consideration. After that, it is important to focus on presenting our city as one that can attract business.
The first step I would take would be to encourage business specifically on Federal and on 92nd Avenue to apply for the remainder of the BIG grant for exterior improvements and then to encourage council to search out other such grant opportunities to make it happen.

Positive Understanding Fair
I'm personable, and always consider others point of views. I'm very rational, and transparent. I believe decisions should made after considering all the facts.
Redeveloping the current public places, such as parks.
Find ways to improve the housing communities.
Find ways to help current businesses grow.
I believe our growth lies in the existing businesses and neighborhoods. My goal is to find a way to help the established businesses grow, and ways to raise current property values.
I feel we need to direct our efforts and funds to cleaning up our existing public areas, such as parks. We have a lot of young families and the public family areas are starting to show their age.
